The method involves influencing humidity of a testing chamber (2) using components e.g. spray nozzle (4) for spraying dry compressed air saturated with water. A programmed computer (15) is assigned to a climate testing device (1) for controlling a testing process of climatic changes of the chamber. Functions and intensities of the components are determined by the computer during a testing sequence for influencing the humidity and temperature of the chamber, and the components are automatically set to operate or not operate by the computer. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing humid climate comprising a testing chamber and components for increasing and reducing humid and temperature in the testing chamber.
