The system (1) has an internal heat exchanger (6) through which refrigerant flows, where the exchanger includes a high temperature inlet (7), high temperature outlet (8), low-temperature inlet (9) and a low-temperature outlet (10). A switching element i.e. magnetic valve, changes heat transfer capacity from the high temperature inlet and outlet to low-temperature inlet and outlet. A bypass enables partial or complete bypassing of a fluid connection between the high temperature inlet and outlet or the low-temperature inlet and outlet, so that the transferred thermal capacity is reduced to zero.
