The ball screw comprises a spindle (1) and a screw nut (2), which stay in contact by balls (3), in order to enable the transformation of a rotation of the spindle into an axial movement of the screw nut. An annular closed ball groove is formed at a periphery surface of the spindle or the screw nut. The balls are provided in a brace (8) of the annular closed ball groove of the spindle or the screw nut in contact with the screw shaped ball groove of the spindle or the screw nut in a load bearing manner and in another brace (9) of the annular closed ball groove in a load-free manner.
