The system has an assembly system with an assembly machine for automatic assembly of printed circuit boards with components. A control component (ST) i.e. central processor, holds, prioritizes and concatenates user intervention (BE) and generates and transmits messages e.g. acoustic messages, with information about the user intervention, which exhibit a highest priority. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a system for in-situ user intervention for an electronic assembly.
