The exhaust manifold (1) has exhaust pipes (2, 4) for guiding hot gas and arranged at a distance to an outer sleeve under formation of air-gap. One of the exhaust pipes (2) is made from casting material i.e. iron, and the outer sleeve is composed of sheet metal material. The other exhaust pipe is formed from a sheet steel pipe. The outer sleeve is formed from two metallic half shells.
