The heating is carried out by laser beam produced from a carbon dioxide-laser. The method further comprises driving off a pre-determined path with the heat source. The cooling process is carried out by applying a gas flow on the workpiece. The workpiece comprises a hollow body. An opening of the hollow body is locked by a silicone-coated aluminum plate.
