The device has a carrier bridge (1) arranged on both sides of two left and right supporting consoles (3, 4). The carrier bridge is arranged at a vehicle-side at left and right longitudinal carriers (5, 6), where a position of the carrier bridge is adjusted relative to the supporting consoles over long holes (11) at outer ends of the carrier bridge. Mechanically flexible and damping components are provided between the carrier bridge and the supporting consoles.
