The vacuum fastening unit has a long suction clamping plate with a long sealing lip, a vacuum contact valve at an upper side and a holder at a lower side. A supporting plate (8) is provided at the two face sides of a suction latch (1). The suction latch has a center supporting mold coaxial to a longitudinal axis at the upper side. The center supporting mold clamps an external profile of a long material. An independent claim is included for a vacuum fastening device with a base plate.
