The system (10) has a cooling circuit (28) supplying a cooling medium for moisturizing and/or cooling components (16, 18, 20) of a fuel cell stack (12). The cooling medium includes a cooling agent, and an internal space (24) of a housing (22), which surrounds the fuel cell stack, is loaded with the cooling agent. An external wall (14) of the fuel cell stack is partially and directly flushed by the cooling agent. An inlet port (34) of an inlet passage (36) of the cooling circuit loads the fuel cell stack with the cooling medium, and is arranged within the internal space of the housing.
