Gradient-conditioned magnetic resonance signal shift correction method, involves determining image plane in object, and correcting signal shift before selection of signal for axes, where signal selection takes place along axes
The method involves determining an image plane in an investigation object i.e. person (12), in which echo planar imaging is accomplished, relative to axes of coordinates of a gradient system (13) such that the coordinate axes run along a selection direction and a magnetic resonance (MR) signal is readout along the selection direction. A gradient-conditioned MR signal shift is determined for each coordinates axis of the gradient system. The signal shift is corrected before selection of the MR signal for the coordinate axes, where the signal selection takes place along the coordinate axes. An independent claim is also included for a device for correcting a gradient-conditioned magnetic resonance signal shift with magnetic resonance pictures.
