The generator (1) has an evaporator (2) provided with a radiation heating surface (6) at an inner side, and a superheater (7) provided with a pipe bundle (8) with a convection heating surface (9). The radiation heating surface and/or the convection heating surface are provided with a black titanium coating in sections. The coating is applied by a cold gas spraying process, where conveying gas i.e. nitrogen, is used during the cold gas spraying process. Anodizing is implemented by an electro-chemical dipping process in an electrolyte. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of a steam generator for a power plant.
