The tank-venting device has an adsorption filter (12a) i.e. activated-charcoal filter, connected with a fuel tank (11). A regeneration line (12d) of the filter is discharged into an intake section (2) of an internal combustion engine (1) i.e. reciprocating piston internal combustion engine, at an end. A conveying device i.e. vacuum pump (9), is integrated in the intake section. The pump is connected with a vacuum chamber (10) on a suction side and with the regeneration line via a throttle (12g) with constant cross-section. The chamber is associated to a brake servo unit of a motor vehicle.
