The segment (1) has a shaft section (6) arranged between a head section (7) and a base section (8). The base section comprises two lateral plug-in sections (9a, 9b) for assembling adjacent stator segments. Two intermediate spaces (10a, 10b) are arranged at a distance from each other at regions of the lateral plug-in sections in stator segment sheets, respectively. The sheets are connected by a glue connection and/or pin connection and/or clinical connection and/or welded connection. The sheets comprise an end section with a concave form and another end section with a convex form.
