The device has a robotic arm (14) that is supported at a base (13) and rotatable around a rotation axis (18). A light source (17) emitting a focused light ray is arranged at the rotation axis such that the produced light ray propagates toward a patient along the rotation axis for visualizing a point by a light spot outside at a joint of the patient, where the axis cuts the joint at the point. A robotic arm (16) is supported at the former robotic arm around other rotation axis. The light source is a laser diode. An independent claim is also included for a method for adaptation of a rotation axis of a robotic arm of a training device to a joint of a body part of a patient for implementing a passive movement of the joint.
