Stabilizer composition comprises glycerol monoalkyl-ethers (0.1-50 wt.%) or a mixture of two or more glycerol monoalkyl-ethers and at least one organic or inorganic compound containing at least di- or tri- or tetravalent metal ion from the groups 2-14, which is capable of forming salts with a mineral acid. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a polymer composition comprising at least one halogen group-containing polymer and the stabilizer composition; and (2) a molded body or film comprising at least one halogen containing polymer and the stabilizer composition.
