The method involves air-conditioning a battery (1) and interior (20) of a vehicle i.e. hybrid vehicle, with air streams (21, 22) outputted from an air-conditioning device (2) of an air-conditioning system (6), where one of the air streams is part of another air stream. Temperatures of the air streams are detected by temperature sensors (11, 12). Flow rates and the temperatures of the air streams are regulated by the air conditioning system, which is provided with branching points (3, 4) and a heat element (5). An independent claim is also included for an air-conditioning system for combining air conditioning of a battery and interior of a vehicle.
