The air spring (1) has a rolling piston (2) made up of plastic and a bellow (3) made up of elastomeric material. The bellow has a fastening bead (4) with a bead core at its end facing the rolling piston. The fastening bead with its conical sealing surface (6) lies in a sealing manner at a conical seat (7) of the rolling piston and with its lower side at a shoulder (9) of the rolling piston. The conical seat has a fixing nose for holding the fastening bead in the upper area. A recess (11) for receiving the fastening bead is provided under the area between the conical seat and the shoulder. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting bellows on a rolling piston.
