The locking unit has electro-mechanically operated couplings (4, 5) individually assigned to first and second output arms (1, 2), respectively for placing the output arms between an active position and an inactive position. Rotational motion is transmitted to a third output arm (3) by rotation of the first and second output arms in the active position. A mirror-symmetrical arrangement of the first and second output arms and the couplings is provided on the locking unit based on a rotational plane of the third output arm.
