The method involves applying an adhesive system e.g. polyurethane hot melt adhesive system, and/or an plastic disk (7) in a region of bond seam at a flexible hood covering (11) before an assembling process. A luminescent additive is applied to the adhesive system for detecting predefined adhesive application in a region of bond seam, where the additive is contrast to the color of the adhesive system applied at the hood covering and/or the disk.
