The spring (1) has winding sections (4, 5) arranged between upper and lower end sections (2, 6), where the end sections and the winding sections are connected with each other as a single piece by deflecting sections (3). The end-, winding- and deflection sections are alternatively arranged on top of each other and formed geometrically different from each other. The sections comprise meander-shaped folded layers made of fiber-reinforced materials. Prepreg layers run along a longitudinal extension in a sinusoidal or cosine shape and are alternately arranged on top of each other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a spring made of fiber reinforced materials (2) a device for manufacturing a spring made of fiber reinforced material, comprising a supply zone for supplying two prepreg webs to a transporting device.
