The device has a turbine (1) provided with vanes (2) having geometries that are changeable by swiveling parts. The vanes rotate under pressure of the water. The swiveling parts are arranged via a swiveling device. A bar (3) is coupled directly at an axis (4) of a generator (5), which is found in a hermetical closed housing (6), where the generator converts movement energy into electrical energy. The housing is fixed in a cavity (7) of water (9). The vanes are designed in a curved manner in flow direction. A water pump is utilized instead of the generator.
