The method involves defining regions at a preset position of a tissue section of a patient (P) in two-dimensional (2D)-X-ray images, respectively. The defined regions are respectively segmented in the X-ray images, such that the tissue section formed in the regions is defined as a segment. The segmented tissue section is three-dimensionally reconstructed using triangulation based on projection geometries of a C-arm X-ray device (2) and predetermined geometric information concerning the tissue section. The reconstructed tissue section is three-dimensionally overlaid into the X-ray images. An independent claim is also included for a device for three-dimensional visualization of a section of a tissue of a patient.
