The valve has a valve flap (17) pivotable arranged around an axis of rotation (25), which is radially arranged outside of an inner cross section of a valve body. A resetting device (23) is provided outside of the valve body for resetting the valve flap to a closed position. The valve flap is formed in a square or rectangular shape, and a valve flap lever (16) is attached at the valve flap and guided outwards through a wall of the valve body, where the valve flap lever has a lever arm (24) that forms an angle to a valve flap plane.
