Luggage attachment mechanism for use as luggage rack for fixing stop lugs in motor vehicle, has clamping rail provided in form of profile rail, and lugs engaged behind channels by rotation of lever under overcoming force of element
The mechanism has a clamping rail (10) provided in a form of a profile rail with diametrically facing longitudinal channels (17). A clamping lever (12) is detachable from the clamping rail, where the lever has stop lugs (14) provided at side pieces (20) of the lever. The side pieces are arranged at distance from each other such that the lever at an arbitrary point of the rail receives the side pieces between the stop lugs. The stop lugs are engaged behind the longitudinal channels by rotation of the lever under overcoming tensioning force of a tensioning element e.g. spring, on the rail.
