The sealing element is formed by a base body in form of a metal foil (7), where a sanitary-item is provided with two adhesive areas (3,4). The adhesive areas are provided in protected form. A mounting tab is provided between the adhesive areas within the sanitary-item of the metal foil. A noise controlling element is arranged outside the latter adhesive area. The metal foil is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, where in sub ranges of the metal foil an acrylic coating is provided. A protective plastic film, particularly poly-vinyl chloride is provided within a flexible area (5). An independent claim is also included for an assembly rolling box for a sealing element.
