Embedded tilting or pivoted lever for valve train mechanism of internal-combustion engine, has flange parts exhibiting openings, where edge of each opening is grouted against bolts engaging opening such that bolts are held in openings
The lever (1) has flange parts (2, 2') exhibiting passage openings (4, 4'), and blots (3, 3') connecting the flange parts together in a fixed manner. The bolts are guided via the associated passage openings in the flange parts. The flange parts are designed as punching parts, and an edge (5) of each passage opening is grouted or deformed against the bolts that engage the passage openings by a circular plunger type tool such that the bolts are held in the passage openings in a fixed manner. The bolts are nitrated or boron-treated and made of hardened metal. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a tilting or pivoted lever.
