The bearing has an air permeable bearing plate (12) forming a bearing surface (15) assigned to an end of a shaft of an open end-spinning rotor. The bearing plate consists of material that is less wear-resistant than a material of the shaft. A bearing element (17) e.g. pin, made of a hard material is arranged in the bearing plate, and limits a removal of the bearing surface. The bearing element is arranged in a center of the bearing surface. The bearing element is made of hard metal or ceramic.
