The vehicle has load rails (7) fixed at a body of the vehicle by fastening parts, and edge areas of a side covering (11) and/or base covering (9) are attached to the rails. An end region (15) of the side covering and/or the base covering is fixed to one of the load rails. The end region is fixed along vehicle transverse direction by a positive connection. Another end region (21) is fixed along vehicle longitudinal direction and transverse direction by a positive connection. The rail is fastened by a screw connection (23), which permits adjustment along both directions.
