The non-volatile memory unit comprises a memory access unit for realization of sequential memory accesses. The memory is realized, such that a storage area is provided. The storage area has required data for the production of sequences of instructions for a data processing program. The storage area is accessed by the memory access unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a program module for a parameter device; a parameter device for operating a servo actuator; a drive system has a servo actuator; and (2) a method for manufacturing a non-volatile memory unit.
