The harmonic drive has inner surfaces in intermediate toothed rings (3) in the area of external teeth (5) or wheels (11) of a planetary pre-stage, where the wheels serve as clamping elements. The wheels of the planetary pre-stage roll in clamp- and slip free manner against each other when a hollow cylinder is deformed in an axially conical manner.
