The seat has a seat part (1) comprising a front cushion segment (2) and a rear cushion segment (3). The front cushion segment is adjustable relative to the rear cushion segment in a seat utilization direction. The segments comprises of respective covering parts (4, 5) that are separated from each other. The cushion segments and/or the covering parts are overlapped in a different and strong manner in dependent of the adjustment of the front cushion segment relative to the rear cushion segment. Straps (7) are mechanically pre-stressed from a movement area (12) using a spring element.
