The fastening unit has first inwardly projecting retaining elements (12) provided at an inner side of a cylinder sleeve-shaped casing (10). Second retaining elements (16) outwardly projecting from both ends of the casing. The second retaining elements are designed in an elastically deformable manner in such a manner that the second retaining elements carry out an evasive movement during insertion of the fastening unit into a passage opening. Outwardly projecting third retaining elements (14) are provided at an outer surface of the casing.
