The adapter has an electrically insulating material i.e. insulating foil (21), provided between first and second bus bars (23, 24), where two end areas of the bus bars are connectable with bus bars (20, 22) of a rectifier, an inverter and/or a converter by connection bolts (25). The end areas of the former bus bar (23) are located at an upper intermediate circuit potential, and the end areas of the latter bus bar (24) are located at a lower intermediate circuit potential. Elongated holes are provided the end areas of the bus bars (24, 25).
