The ceramic mass comprises hexagonal boron nitride, and a nano-scale powder of silicon and aluminum on the basis of oxides, hydroxides, oxyhydrates or compounds, which form oxide under thermal effect. The nano-scale powder comprises boehmite and substances of the groups of highly-dispersed silicic acid such as tetraethyloxysilane, and components of boehmite and/or aluminum oxide, where the boehmite portion in the mass is 20-45 wt.%. The hexagonal boron nitride is powdered boron nitride and/or a powder with a content of hexagonal boron nitride and has primary crystal size of 300 nm to 10 mu m. The ceramic mass comprises hexagonal boron nitride, and a nano-scale powder of silicon and aluminum on the basis of oxides, hydroxides, oxyhydrates or compounds, which form oxide under thermal effect. The nano-scale powder comprises boehmite and substances of the groups of highly-dispersed silicic acid such as tetraethyloxysilane, and components of boehmite and/or aluminum oxide, where the boehmite portion in the mass is 20-45 wt.%. The hexagonal boron nitride is powdered boron nitride and/or a powder with a content of hexagonal boron nitride and has a primary crystal size of 300 nm to 10 mu m. The nano-scale powder has a primary particle size of below 30 nm. The ceramic mass includes inorganic filler material such as oxide, carbide, nitride and/or carbon and/or sintering aid such as nucleating agent or glass former. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a ceramic sintered body using a ceramic mass.
