Method for joining two functional components, comprises inserting a material bridge made of weldable material between the first and second functional components, which are welded to each other over the material bridge
The method comprises inserting a material bridge (3) made of weldable material between first and second functional components (1, 2), which are welded to each other over the material bridge, where one of both functional components consist of cast iron material and another component consists of copper-zinc alloy. The material bridge is arranged on the extensive external surface of the base body. The first functional component is a rotation symmetrical base body and the second functional component is a wreath. The method comprises inserting a material bridge (3) made of weldable material between first and second functional components (1, 2), which are welded to each other over the material bridge, where one of both functional components consist of cast iron material and another component consists of copper-zinc alloy. The material bridge is arranged on the extensive external surface of the base body. The first functional component is a rotation symmetrical base body and the second functional component is a wreath, which is shrunken in the area of the material bridge arranged on the rotation symmetrical base body. The material bridge is welded with the first functional component and the second functional component and/or with the base body and the wreath over a laser welding process. The material bridge and the first functional component and/or the base body and/or the material bridge and the second function component and/or the wreath are connected to each other in a welding process in dependent upon the dimension of the functional components. The functional component and/or the base body with the material bridge in the first welding process and the material bridge with the second functional component and/or the wreath are connected to each other in the second welding process. An additive material is used for regulating the material of the melting bath and for improving the connection of the first functional component and/or the base body and the material bridge and/or the second functional component and/or the wreath. The laser beam of the laser used for welding is transferred from the joining position of the functional component in the direction of the second functional component and/or the wreath. The external edge of the wreath is shaped. An independent claim is included for a snail-wheel for a drive.
