The regulator has a switch (S0) for switching current flowing through a coil (L). Different output voltages are provided to two outputs (UA1, UA2) of the regulator. The current is separated into two paths guided to the outputs at an output-sided node (K). Another switch (S1) is provided in one of the paths guided to the outputs to interrupt the current flow to the associated outputs. Parallel smoothing capacitors (C1, C2) are provided at the outputs. A diode (D2) is provided in one of the paths to protect the output against a low potential.
