The device has a central computer unit (11) i.e. computer processor, connected with a current source (14), an output device (15), an input device (16) and input sensors (17). A phase angle evaluation platform (20) represents a ratio of phase angle to age and body mass index. A phase angle database has data of normal groups e.g. age, gender, body condition, breed, resistance, bio-impedance-phase angle measuring data and phase angle. A counsel database (13) is used during error and/or exceedance of values. The sensors provided as an electrode pair are attached to body of a person to be measured. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining physiological age of a human body by measuring phase angle of bio-impedance of the human body.
