The assembly has a pressing plate rotatable around an axis of rotation with a housing arrangement (12). A disk-like energy storage device (20) is supported with respect to the arrangement and the plate. The storage device is supported by carriers (28) with respect to the arrangement. The storage device is axially supported with respect to the arrangement and the carriers by respective supporting areas (36, 40). One of the supporting areas (40) has a pretensioning assembly (44) that is in alignment to each carrier to pretension the storage device against the other supporting area.
