The method involves recording images of an injection molding part removed from an injection molding tool, and detecting a temperature of the injection molding part during recording of the images. Time and temperature-dependent shrinking curves are determined from the images. Weight of the molding part is extrapolated from the shrinking curves. An injection molding parameter i.e. molding speed, is adjusted, so that weight of the molding part manufactured by injection molding process after cooling is in a predetermined tolerance range.
