The injector (1) has an axially adjustable injection valve element (2) with a combustion chamber-sided end section (13) projected into a nozzle chamber (12). Fuel is injected into the nozzle chamber via a closing throttle (9), and a sleeve (11) or disk applies spring force along axial direction and penetrates into the injection valve element. The sleeve or disk has a throttle borehole (10) e.g. radial borehole or diagonal borehole, for forming the closing throttle. A pressure chamber (14) is hydraulically connected with the nozzle chamber by the closing throttle.
