The arrangement has a connection unit for connection of natural fiber components (1, 2) and comprising an electric conductor (4) i.e. steel wire, and a plastic body (3) i.e. plastic jacket. The plastic body comprises thermoplastic characteristics, and one of the natural fiber components comprises a connection section (6) for connection with another one of the fiber components. The latter fiber component comprises a connection section (7) with the former fiber component. The latter connection section comprises a groove (5) for accommodating the connection unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a component arrangement.
