The device (10) has a housing (12) provided with an injection opening (14), and a needle (16) adjusted between a closed position and an injection position in the housing. The injection opening is closed in the closed position and released in the injection position. The housing has a material-inlet (20), a needle actuating-air inlet (22) and a proportional-air inlet (24). The needle is connected with a drive (26) i.e. electric miniature motor. The drive is provided for continuous, controlled adjustment of the needle with respect to the injection opening.
