The method involves laminating a dimensionally stable base area element (60) together with a flexible cover area element (62) using adhesive. An edge area (70) of the base area element and an edge area (72) of an adhesive-free open space area (58) are covered with edge strips (74) of the adhesive, where the edge strips exhibit small width (b1). A filling area (76) of the base area element between the edge strips is covered with the adhesive, where the cover area element formed with the open space area is glued at the base area element.
