Plasticizer-free thermoplastic molding mass (I) comprises a matrix phase from at least one polysaccharide, and at least one inhibitor that reduces at least one of the chain degradation of polysaccharide ester during the thermoplastic processing. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparing (I) comprising homogeneously mixing the inhibitor with the matrix phase; (2) molded parts produced by (I); and (3) preparing molded parts comprising thermoplastic processing of (I) by extrusion, preferably a profile and film extrusion, injection molding, injection blow molding, pressing, or melt spinning.
