The applique (1) has a laminar carrier material provided with a fastening element at side edges. A complementary fastening element is assigned to the fastening element on a piece of outer clothing i.e. trouser (2). The complementary fastening element is provided into an outer side seam (41) and an inner side seam (42) of a front fabric cut (51) and a rear fabric cut (52) that are provided on sides of the piece of outer clothing. The fastening elements are Zippers(RTM: Slide fasteners) (31, 32) or hook-and-loop fasteners.
