The component carrier (120) has a pole shoe (110) which is arranged in or on the component carrier at a distance (D) from a surface (106) such that the magnetic field has a magnetic flux which increases towards a target area (104). The distance of the pole shoe is chosen such that the magnetic flux has a local maximum in the target area. Another pole shoe is provided and the target area is present between the two pole shoes. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a system with a component having a contact component; and (2) a method for assembling a component carrier with a component in a target area on a surface of the component carrier.
