The profile (1) has a projection (12) including a side wall (13) and another side wall running parallel to each other. One of the side walls is arranged in a center between arms (3, 4), and another side wall is arranged in an extension of one of the arms. The projection is provided with a projection part and a recess (17). Cross-sections of the projection part and the recess are aligned on top of each other, such that the projection part is extendable into the recess, to form a form-fit connection. The side walls are connected with each other by a front wall. An independent claim is also included for a cover profile comprising a T-profile.
