The plant for settling water contaminants, whose density is higher than water, comprises precipitant supply and a determined number of reaction containers for settling the water contaminants. A water supply with water to be treated and precipitants is connected on a tangential separator (4) at the exit side and reaction tubs (6) are connected in funnel form. Two lift blocker plates (9) are arranged in the respective reaction tubs transverse in an angle of 15-25[deg] in its size and height and a clear water flow is guaranteed without floatable water contaminants. The plant for settling water contaminants, whose density is higher than water, comprises precipitant supply and a determined number of reaction containers for settling the water contaminants. A water supply with water to be treated and precipitants is connected on a tangential separator (4) at the exit side and reaction tubs (6) are connected in funnel form. Two lift blocker plates (9) are arranged in the respective reaction tubs transverse in an angle of 15-25[deg] in its size and height and a clear water flow is guaranteed without floatable water contaminants. The water to be treated flows by baffle wall below the water level of the laterally connected reaction tubs. Pumps (1) are connected over feed line with the settling plant. The precipitant dosing is carried out in the water flow of the line between immersing pump and the tangential separator. An overflow pipe of the tangential separator is arranged in a first reaction tub below the water surface. The tangential separator and the reaction tub have a funnel on base and a valve (10) is present in the base for turbidity discharge. A transport container is connected over the valve and the turbidity discharge. A fine filter is connected at the last reaction tub of the settling plant.
