The method involves cleaning a conditioned gas using a filter device (9), and proportionately introducing filter residue in a gas path before the filter device and/or a gasification device. The filtered gas is washed and/or cooled to a temperature less than 40 degree celsius. Accumulated carbon hydride containing condensate (15) is proportionately guided back from a condensate separation unit (14) downstream to a washing and/or cooling unit (12), into the gasification device, a raw gas pipe (4) and/or the washing and/or cooling unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for treating a chlorinated raw gas from a gasification plant.
