Step-up converter for use in three-phase power inverter to step up input direct current voltage into high output direct current voltage, has high and low side switching transistors controlled by control unit in synchronized manner
The converter (2) has a control unit (40), three loading coils (5) and a three-phase module (7) i.e. power module, with three half bridges (71-73), which are connected in parallel. The half bridges comprise a high side switching transistor (8) for transferring a switching-technique function of a free-wheeling diode at the converter and a low side switching transistor (9) for transferring a switching-technique function of an actuator switch at the converter. The high side switching transistor and the low side switching transistor are controlled by the control unit in a synchronized manner. An independent claim is also included for a step-down converter for stepping down of input direct current voltage into reduced output direct current voltage.
